I'm sorry for abandoning you.
This website represents my life's work, and it is part and parcel of how I follow the Golden Rule in relation to my readers.
I have been seeking for over a decade, and still seek, to join a monastery.
I have joined a monastery, told the abbot that this website was a life's work to me, and was told my "website is going to have to come down."
I have never been so shocked at pastoral advice.
The stated reason was that an administrative convenience for him (being able to say the monks at his monastery don't have websites without any asterisks or exceptions), trumped my life's work.
That was the first sign this monastery was not the right match for me.
